Water event releases preliminary program

Taking place in Hamilton on 18–20 September 2019, the Water New Zealand Conference and Expo will feature a multitrack program covering the latest developments in the water industry.

Water New Zealand President Kelvin Hill will open the event, followed by an opening address by New Zealand Minister for the Environment David Parker.

On the first day, presentations will address thought leadership; water supply and treatment; pipes and pumps; smart water infrastructure; ground water; biosolids; chemicals and residuals; International Water Association and leading-edge processes; sustainable water; and planning.

In addition to the topics presented on day one, the conference will explore sludge management; water health and efficiency; pipeline design, young water professionals; big data; energy and carbon efficiency; growth and service improvement; digital technology; land disposal; and the future of the water industry.
