ImpulseRadar appoints new partner

Leading ground penetrating radar (GPR) specialist ImpulseRadar has appointed a new Australasian distribution partner.

The company has appointed Australian supplier Access Detection to market and support ImpulseRadar’s technology in the Australasian region, supporting its international growth strategy to increase its geographic reach and provide access to new markets.

With the immediate appointment of its new Australasian distribution partner, the company will both acquire new customers and develop new revenue streams.

ImpulseRadar CEO Tommy Leijon said the company looks forward to working with Access Detection, a highly reputable company in the region.

“Their experience with utility locate technologies, including electromagnetic locators and water leak detection instruments, makes them perfectly qualified to market and support the ImpulseRadar PinPointR to the utility locate market in Australasia,” said Mr Leijon.

Access Detection supplies equipment to major utility corporations and small independent companies with a sales network in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Assess Detection Sales Director Anthony Johnson said the company is pleased to be representing ImpulseRadar in Australasia.

“We have been actively promoting GPR for almost a decade but have been looking for improvements to allow us to serve our local customers better,” he said.

“We have witnessed with interest ImpulseRadar’s growth and have been impressed with their growing offering.

“We are pleased to have come to an agreement to represent ImpulseRadar in Australasia and to be able to offer our customers the latest GPR technology, especially the new PinPointR.”
