WSP acquires Australian consulting firm

WSP President and CEO Alexandre L’Heureux said the acquisition supports the company’s long-term goals with WSP looking forward to welcoming the new colleagues.

“This acquisition supports WSP’s 2019–21 Global Strategic Plan’s objective to diversity into strategic advisory areas, and the firm’s commitment to offering clients a broader range of consulting services,” said Mr L’Heureux.

WSP President and CEO of Australia and New Zealand Guy Templeton said that the company understands its clients’ needs for success include strategic advice, urban and regional planning, and early and consistent community engagement.

“Elton Consulting’s skills-base and deep experience add depth to WSP’s existing capabilities and combined with their other services, we have a truly powerful offering.”

Elton Consulting CEO Kim Anson added that the two companies will develop creative and comprehensive consulting solutions.

The transaction was financed using WSP’s available cash and credit facilities.
