The annual Locate Conference attracts national and international delegates and provides all attendees with the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and applications in geospatial technologies.
This year, LOCATE20 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre where the themes of ‘Convergence, Collaboration and Community’ will be explored.
The newly released program shows that through the lens of four key sub-themes – Build, Sustain, Prosper and Protect – the event will deep-dive into big issues the world is facing and how the industry can shift to make a difference.
On Tuesday 28 April, the conference will commence with a market day open to the public to see the exhibition hall as well as an attendee welcome reception and optional workshops.
The following days will see the exhibition open for conference participants, followed by plenary and breakout sessions as week as a young professionals symposium.
On Wednesday evening, the Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards will take place at the gala dinner and the event will conclude by 5.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
