Killard Group acquires Insituform

Killard Infrastructure has acquired Insituform Pacific Pty Limited (IPPL).

Insituform Holdings – a Killard Group entity – has recently acquired all Insituform Pacific Pty Ltd (IPPL) shares, with IPPL now also forming part of the Killard Group.

The purchase of the IPPL entity by Killard has expanded operations into Victoria and Queensland while simultaneously strengthening its existing capabilities.

Killard Infrastructure CEO Lee Edwards said the purchase represents an exciting step in the company’s continued development and positioning in the water sector.

Killard Group Managing Director Jerry Daly added that IPPL has forged an excellent market reputation for the successful delivery of rehabilitation services in the wastewater sector.

“We are delighted to welcome IPPL as a sister company to the Killard Group and look forward to working with and supporting the existing team to help grow their business and implement new and innovative trenchless solutions,” he said.

Killard’s southern region branch will now service clients in Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia and parts of southern New South Wales where it will further strengthen its existing partnering relations.

IPPL’s change in ownership aims to increase service delivery, improve its overall support and assist in providing excellent customer relations; the change will not alter IPPL’s delivery obligations to any existing cliental, instead offering a much broader service due to Killard’s inhouse capability.

After 25 years’ industry experience, David Dodemaide has been appointed to the Killard Entity as General Manager Southern Region, which includes the newly incorporated IPPL.

“During my time I have been responsible for managing the set up and subsequently managing various companies’ sewer and water renewal businesses in the south of the country,” said Mr Dodemaide.

“I am a specialist in trenchless technologies and I look forward to my new role and strengthening our already existing partnering relationships.”
