The Locate Conference – planned for the 28–30 April 2020 in Brisbane, Queensland – has been postponed, with new dates to be announced shortly.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent Federal Government ban on non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people, Locate20 has made the decision to cancel its upcoming conference.
With more than 300 professionals already registered to attend the event from the geospatial community across Australia and New Zealand, Locate20 says it understands this decision may be an inconvenience to some.
However, given the circumstances, it believes the postponement is the responsible stance to take in ensuring a healthy and safe experience for all.
For those already registered for the event, all registrations will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
Locate20 would like to thank all its board members, partners, sponsors, suppliers and staff for their patience while working through this unprecedented and complex situation.
It will continue to update its social media channels and website with information and once the details of the postponement are confirmed, Locate20 will email all registrants.
