Interflow completes stormwater assessment

Amid COVID-19, the company has implemented new protection policies to ensure its business can continue, considering people still need to rely on the continuity of water and sanitation services.

Interflow is coordinating a large workforce across Australasia – both in-house and out in the field – and is doing so in ways that maximise everyone’s health and wellbeing by following government guidelines.

Interflow Managing Director Geoff Weaver said the ability to be agile and able to adapt during this uncertain time is reflected through leadership, honest and open conduits of communication.

“Our customers have different needs and we’re endeavouring to provide the flexibility to interface with each of them,” he said.

This was demonstrated in Ipswich where the Ipswich City Council engaged Interflow to conduct a stormwater condition assessment program in the local area.

The stormwater pipeline was at risk of collapse under a popular sporting oval, so Interflow engineers developed a customised solution to ensure the council’s asset could continue functioning.

Interflow said its team was able to work safely and efficiently while minimising community disruption and future-proofing the network for years to come.

“Interflow’s ability to adapt rapidly helps protect our customers and the community as we work together during this difficult time,” said Mr Weaver.
