The ASTT will be holding webinars this year in place of its in-person trenchless forums due to COVID-19.
In a move to provide more value to its members, the ASTT is moving to digital events to allow all members to attend, regardless of location.
The first virtual event will take place tomorrow on 23 July at 1-2pm EST, comprising a presentation titled Water main renewal – they’re under pressure and the clock is ticking.
The webinar will discuss difficulties surrounding condition assessment, budgets and actual versus predicted life, which have often led to a reactive approach to asset renewal.
Therefore, the presentation will examine options to meet financial and time related needs while simultaneously enhancing customer experience and protecting the planet.
Depending upon participant interest and number of potential speakers the ASTT receives, the society hopes it will be able to host the webinars on a fortnightly basis.
The ASTT is now seeking expressions of interest from members to be a speaker; if you are interested in presenting, email your name and presentation title to ASTT Secretary Jeff Pace at email@example.com
