Vermeer to open new Townsville facility

In July, Vermeer announced it had outgrown its current Townsville facility and was looking to expand its service and parts centre to support its customers in a better capacity.

Construction of its new dealership facility commenced immediately with an expanded showroom, service centre and parts warehousing capabilities to support its expanding Vermeer and John Deere customer base in the region.

The relocation to the larger premises will be finalised on Friday 4 September, with Vermeer holding an open day for customers to see the new site on Monday 7 September.

Vermeer said its new 1,503 m2 facility is located a short drive from its old dealership and includes a large equipment display area at the front of the building as well as a new workshop with five service bays, designed to accommodate its large range of equipment.
