In a social media post, HDI Lucas said it dealt with some “tricky” formation issues on the previous two crossings it has completed, but bringing a STEP OILTOOLS centrifuge online has made a big difference.
The machinery is a modular unit that offers high efficiency solids control by maximising solids separations from drilling fluids to improve drilling rates.
HDI Lucas said the unit has “slipped in nicely” behind its National Oilwell Varco separation system.
