Water Corporation Board appoints new chair

Mr Love brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles with Boston Consulting Group in Australia and New York to his new appointment.

His career has spanned both corporate and government sectors, including airlines and airports, commuter rails, retail and resources.

Mr Love is also currently Chair of Fremantle Ports and board member of the Western Australian Regional Development Trust.

Mr Kelly said Mr Love brings a strong track record of strategy development and execution plus a wealth of corporate expertise and high-level leadership skills to the role.

“I look forward to working with Mr Love to help guide Western Australia’s most important utility as it deals with the challenges of climate change,” said Mr Kelly.

Mr Love’s appointment is effective from 22 September 2020 for a term concluding 31 December 2022.

David Lock, who has been a board member since 2014 and Acting Chair since January 2020, will remain on the board as Deputy Chair.
