Design and construction of Joynton Avenue stormwater trunk drainage upgrade

Description: The Council of the City of Sydney invites expressions of interest for the carrying out of the design and construction of Joynton Avenue Stormwater Trunk Drainage Upgrade. The work consists of constructing approximately 750 m of 1.8 m diameter reinforced concrete pipe, as well as shorter length of reinforced concrete box culverts, smaller diameter pipes, manholes and junction pits, a new Gross Pollutant Trap connection into existing services and decommissioning of redundant pipework. The stormwater trunk drain is proposed to be installed at depths of up to 4 m from the surface level to the top of pipe.
Bailey Street Bairnsdale water main replacement

Southern Queensland Correctional Precinct Stage 2 – Wastewater treatment plant

Description: A new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is required as part of the South Queensland Correctional Precinct Stage 2 expansion. The new WWTP will replace the existing WWTP (which does not have capacity to handle the future flows) and will treat raw wastewater from the prison to enable recycled water reuse. The new WWTP will consist of an inlet works (coarse and fine screens and fats, oils and grease removal), membrane bioreactor, disinfection system, WAS handling and dewatering system, blowers, chemical dosing systems, electrical and control systems, buildings (for the electrical switchroom, dewatering system and blowers) and other associated infrastructure required for the safe and reliable operation of the plant.
