The ASTT is continuing its free webinar series, with the fifth instalment taking place this week.
The presentation, titled ‘Long Distance Pipejacking’ will be presented by Erhan Hakki Oguz and will commence at 1pm for a 2pm conclusion.
Mr Oguz will discuss a 2011 project awarded to Züblin’s Singapore branch, which comprised the sinking of two deep shafts and an ID 2,000 mm reinforced concrete tunnel.
The tunnel had a record 1.55 km length and, following the its construction, a DN700 mm high pressure gas transmission pipeline needed to be installed inside.
Mr Oguz will discuss the pipejacking project works, challenges and end results, with time at the end set aside for participants to ask questions.
