Piangil water main replacement

Annual sewer rehabilitation program

Description: Lower Murray Water is issuing a tender for a schedule of rates (SOR) contract with three separable potion for rehabilitation of sewer mains and sewer manholes will be sought through a tender process for a period of three years. At the beginning of each financial year a project agreement will be made with the successful contractor confirming the scope and value of works for the 12-month period, with a practical completion date of 30 June of the appropriate year. The contract will make up three portions for the three contract years. In each contract year/portion there will be a combination of SMN & SMH rehabilitation tasks up to a set value for completion before the practical completion date for that portion.

Charters Towers Road water main

Description: Townsville City Council is undertaking the replacement of several old water mains throughout the city. One of these mains is the DN400 Cast Iron (CI) water main along Charters Towers Rd and Ross River Rd. Another is the DN300 CI and DN225 CI water main on the eastern side of Charters Towers Rd and southern side of Ross River Rd. To facilitate the decommissioning these existing old mains (along with a number of other old AC reticulation main), new pipelines are to be constructed along the footpaths of Charters Towers Rd and Ross River Road in Hyde Park, Hermit Park and Mundingburra.

Waimate West Water Main Renewals

South Taranaki District Council (STDC) propose to renew two sections of pipeline along Auroa and Skeet Road. The existing pipelines are asbestos cement (AC) and are not providing the current required levels of service. The first section of this project is for the installation of approximately 1,180 m of STDC supplied DN180 PE100 PN12.5 SDR13.6 pipe from Auroa Road / 5.175 up to Auroa Road / 6.355. The second section of this project is for the installation of approximately 1,400 m of STDC supplied DN180 PE100 PN12.5 SDR13.6 pipe from Skeet Road / 3.390 up to the X junction at Oeo Road.

Construction of the Clean Water Drainage System

Description:
Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises Pty Ltd (KEE) proposes to construct a Clean Water Diversion System (CWDS) at the Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre (KRRC), which is located off Kimbriki Road, Ingleside in northern Sydney. The proposed CWDS will divert stormwater runoff from approximately 70ha of up gradient land, including 24 ha of land to the north and west of Mona Vale Road. The proposed western diversion drain will comprise approximately 1,500 m of open drain (channel) alongside an access road, a water management basin, and discharge into an un-named watercourse at the southern end of the KRRC site, which flows into Deep Creek and then Narrabeen lagoon. The proposed eastern diversion drain comprises a combination of open drains (channels) and pipes that extend over approximately 1,100 m, and discharge into the same un-named tributary of Deep Creek at the southern end of the site.
