Metro Tunnel TBMs on final drives

Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Alice has now passed beneath the Yarra River and is now closing in on the Town Hall Station site as part of her final tunnelling drive 

More than 1.6 km of the 1.8 km tunnel have now been completed, with tunnelling and TBM retrieval works to continue throughout May. 

Work is also continuing on the future Anzac Station where large concrete pours have been completed on both the northern and southern ends of the station box.  

The first phase of construction of the Shrine station entrance is now complete and the tram interchange station entrance is also progressing.
