Interflow wins QLD sewer contract

Interflow will reline approximately 8 km of sewer across the towns of Warwick and Stanthorpe in Queensland.

Awarded by the Southern Downs Regional Council, the contract is for two years with works expected to take approximately four months.

Interflow’s works will reduce the risk of failure to the council’s sewer mains and  help avoid hazards like sewer overflow.

Additionally, the relining works will restore the integrity of the sewer pipes, prevent collapses or ingress of tree roots, and help reduce infiltration during storms and other wet weather events.

Interflow said works will extend the life of the sewer mains by up to 50 years.

A major name in the water industry, Interflow is one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading providers of trenchless pipeline solutions, specialising in the water mains, wastewater, stormwater and culvert sectors.
