CCF survey advocates for industry training

Trenchless Australasia

The National Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) is calling for those in the civil construction sector to complete the Skills and Capacity Survey 2021.

CCF aims to present the study’s finding to the Federal Government to advocate for measures that will enhance training and skills development in the industry.

The federation believes such training will support Australia’s economic recovery and by filling out the survey those in the sector will contribute to CCF’s advocacy.

CCF requires survey respondents’ feedback on issues including ability to undertake additional civil construction work and any difficulties faced in recruiting people to organisations.

The results will be provided anonymously to the National Skills Commission, who, under the Federal Government, are working to identify the skill development needs of the sector.

CCF is the peak body representing Australia’s civil construction industry, supporting members’ businesses and providing a voice to all levels of government.

The Federation has branches in all states and territories, with approximately 2000 contractor and associate members nationally.

Recently, CCF hosted the CCF National Earth Awards to recognise various disciplines including roads, bridges, drainage, rail and utilities, that relate to supporting the growth and prosperity of Australian communities.

The survey closes November 30.
