No-Dig Down Under postponed

NDDU

Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation following the recent Omicron outbreak, organisers have decided to postpone the 2022 exhibition and conference to June 14-17, 2022.

No-Dig Down Under is the southern hemisphere’s only large-scale conference and exhibition dedicated to trenchless technology.

Previously, No-Dig was scheduled to be held from 8-11 March at Sydney’s International Convention Centre.

Due to rising hospitalisations and high Omicron case numbers across New South Wales and other states, the Australian Society for Trenchless Technology (ASTT), along with No-Dig organisers, has made the difficult decision to postpone the event.

No-Dig will take place in the same venue; however, the new dates for the conference and exhibition will be Tuesday 14 June – Friday 17 June.

President of the ASTT Ben Crosby notified the public of his decision to push back the event on Monday 31 January.

“The ASTT Board have been monitoring the current COVID situation carefully and the impact it is likely to have to No-Dig Down Under, as well as undertaking regular engagement with various stakeholders, including with sponsors, exhibitors and speakers,” said Crosby in an announcement from the association.

“As such, the difficult decision has been made to postpone No-Dig Down Under 2022. No-Dig Down Under will run from 14-17 June at the ICC Sydney.

“It’s been a very challenging time for everyone involved and we look forward to running the exhibition and conference at a time when all of industry can come together for this critical event.”

The decision has been made with the health and wellbeing of attendees and exhibitors in mind, and the organisation has thanked everyone for their cooperation and understanding.
