Rob Carr benefitting from collaboration with partner companies

Microtunnelling contractor Rob Carr is thriving as a key member of one of the world’s largest construction networks.

The company, which is proud of its focus on safety, collaboration and innovation in the trenchless technology industry, believes the best innovation occurs when like-minded companies are open to collaborating.

As part of Soletanche Bachy and the wider VINCI network, Rob Carr has seen the benefits of collaboration firsthand, working with a number of sister companies, particularly tunnelling and microtunnelling company Bessac, which has more than 40 years of experience in these industries.

Together, the two companies have tackled a number of opportunities within Oceania, finding innovative solutions and support for major capital works to meet the needs of utilities and other clients.

With experience in microtunnelling and tunnelling, and a combined fleet of 75 machines in slurry and earth pressure balance up to 6.5 m in diameter, they are equipped for any tunnelling project.
