Leading Chinese manufacturer 5ELEM has become the main shareholder in NordiTube Technologies, strengthening a partnership whose presence will be felt globally in the trenchless industry.
Cooperation between the two companies has been going strong ever since the signing of a master licence for the Chinese market in July 2020.
Jan Luksch, Managing Director of NordiTube Technologies SE said that this is a big step for the Belgium-based company.
“We are very happy to announce the next step of our cooperation with 5ELEM, which represents an excellent opportunity for us to expand production capacity for NordiTube ́s technologies worldwide,” Luksch said.
5ELEM focusses its considerable resources on providing products of high quality. The company has become a leading manufacturer of woven jacket and rubber covered hoses. Its products have applications across a vast range of industries, from firefighting to water discharge and gas exploration.
NordiTube has established itself as a leading technology provider in trenchless pipe rehabilitation. It has been producing CIPP liners for 35 years.
Combining NordiTube’s decades of experience in CIPP lining, expertise in innovative technologies, and proven systems with 5ELEM’s access to hi-tech infrastructure for production and access to the rapidly expanding Chinese market will really set the partnership apart.
Together the companies are able to provide leading expertise in no-dig technology production with local knowledge and service in all global markets.
“The additional production facilities and the additional 5ELEM products, like the High-Pressure Long Distance IH liner, will be a perfect complement to our global representation,” said Luksch.
But it doesn’t stop there.
At the same time, 5ELEM has become a minority shareholder in RTI Austria Group.
The cooperation between 5ELEM and NordiTube will be able to support global customers with RTI’s experienced design and installation teams.
