AUSJET22 wraps up for now

Heavy rains this week did nothing to curb the enthusiasm on display at the first AUSJET22, hosted at the Melbourne show grounds.

Companies brought their A-game to the event to showcase innovative products and a collective passion for the future of water jetting, drain cleaning and vacuum technologies.

Live demonstrations were a definite highlight for many, who donned plastic ponchos and wielded umbrellas against the elements to watch.

Impressive pump demonstrations from Woma Australia and Hammelmann exhibited a variety of applications from pipe and drain cleaning to stripping paint, with the crew from THRC showing more water jetting technology, as well as the latest in PPE to keep crew safe during manual operations.

Also on show were a series of robotic innovations from BlastOne and KOR, which demonstrated the value and safety benefits from removing the human element from certain work environments.

Equipment of all sizes was on display. Australian manufacturer Vacvator had its TMC60-245BPJ on display just outside – demonstrating the high quality and workmanship that the industry has learned to expect from its operators.

AUSJET22 was a future-focussed event, with discussion panels talking not only about the current state of the industry, but actively engaging to talks about what may be to come as technology and understanding advances and project requirements evolve.

AUSJET22 was proudly organised in conjunction with the Australasian High Pressure Water Jetting Association and the Australasian Drain Cleaning and Vacuum Association.

The event will return, so keep an eye out for AUSJET24.
