Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) manufacturer TRACTO has launched the company’s newest machine at one of the world’s largest construction events.

The manufacturer revealed the new GRUNDODRILL ACS300 at this year’s Bauma Fair, which took place last week in Munich, Germany.

According to TRACTO, the new GRUNDODRILL is the most powerful rock drilling rig in its class, sporting the largest engine, a large drill rod magazine, and design to the latest concepts in HDD operations, it incorporates all the important functions for daily jobsite use.

If the success of the predecessor to this machine, the GRUNDORILL ACS130, is anything to go by, then the new 300 is sure to meet the latest in HDD needs.

The machines are named ACS standing for ‘all condition system’, capable of drilling in all geologies, including solid rock.

With machines like the GRUNDODRILL ACS300, TRACTO has earned a global reputation as a provider of intelligent, no-dig solutions for intact infrastructure projects in the trenchless industry.
