WATCH: M Tucker makes recycled concrete from no-dig waste

Recycled concrete plant at M Tucker and Sons Mt Evelyn HQ.

M Tucker and Sons has started manufacturing recycled concrete blocks using waste from no-dig operations and civil construction projects.

Excavated rock, soil and mud waste is washed – using water extracted from the waste itself – and separated at the company’s plant in Mt Evelyn, Victoria.

Once processed, rock is ground and poured into moulds to produce concrete blocks.

The civil and trenchless drainage specialist produces concrete that can be returned to the worksite for structural use, but the operation can be mobilised to become an on-site plant for projects trying to limit the cost of transporting waste.
