Safety Shovel will conduct demonstrations on tour

BRP Corporation will be performing demonstrations of its Safety Shovels in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland in the next month.

Conceived specifically for the trenchless and civil construction industries, the Safety Shovel simultaneously detects metal and power under the ground, preventing harmful asset strikes before they happen.

It also provides a functional real time detection tool to protect workers by simultaneously detecting metal objects and electrical cables (EMF) under the ground.

Typical assets detected include, water and gas pipes, communications cables, as well as live power cables.

The Safety Shovel chief executive officer Peter Smith will be conducting the demonstration sessions.

“BRP Corporation the inventor, manufacturer and distributer, is extremely proud to be attending the BISCI and Heavy Machinery and Equipment trade shows in May as this will be the first time the Safety Shovel will be shown at a trade show’s in both New Zealand and Queensland,” Smith said.

“So come along and see the Safety Shovel in action and see how the Safety Shovel can assist your company in avoiding asset strikes, detecting buried pits and saving your businesses reputation.”

The demonstration sessions will be held at the BISCI trade show with the company’s NZ distributer atg Technology Group in Auckland at Ellerslie Event Centre on 17 May.

Another one will also be held at the Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show in Brisbane at the Brisbane show grounds from 18 until 21 May.
