The Australasian Society for Trenchless Technology (ASTT) has opened applications to the inaugural Young Trenchless Professionals (YTP) Committee.
The focus of the YTP will be to assist the ASTT achieve its mission and strategic objective through improving member awareness and engagement, organising trenchless forums and providing input to council on industry trends and changes.
This is a new and exciting direction for the ASTT, and the first step for members will be to develop the strategy and focus of the committee.
A minimum of five members will be selected with each committee member being under the age of 35 at the time of joining.
Each member must be members of the ASTT individually or under a company membership.
Specifically, the ASTT is seeking diversity of thought, gender, background and experience.
The expectation is that the committee will meet every two months at a minimum, virtually and in person once a year.
In return, members will receive a wealth of benefits including professional development, networking opportunities, engagement with industry, mentoring opportunities and strategy development and delivery.
