Rangedale Drainage and Industrial Services (RDI Services) is a locally owned business dedicated to serving the Victorian and New South Wales markets.
With a legacy spanning over three decades, Rangedale RDI Services leverages its extensive industry experience to deliver innovative, market-focused solutions. Over the years, RDI has witnessed significant transformations across various industries, evolving by investing in its people, equipment and embracing innovation to lead the way in an ever-changing landscape.
In 2019, company directors Chris O’Connor, Vince D’Alessio, and Justin Triffitt embarked on a journey to expand Rangedale’s service portfolio into the industrial sector.
General manager Justin Triffitt said that RDI Services boasts a state-of-the-art fleet comprising industrial vehicles, combination drain cleaning units, cutting-edge pipeline CCTV technology, wet and dry vacuum units, high-pressure water jetting equipment, vacuum tankers, and supplementary machinery.
“Our business model at RDI is heavily involved in the mining, manufacturing, and oil & gas sectors. We offer comprehensive services, including high-pressure water jetting, large-scale industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, de-sludging, industrial vacuum loading, and specialised water jetting applications,” he said.
Operating from depots in Wangaratta, Wodonga (Vic), and Sydney (NSW), RDI prides itself on tackling projects of all sizes with equal dedication.
Triffitt emphasised the company’s ability to provide customised solutions for any challenge, an abundant workforce, ample resources, and top-tier equipment, all complemented by a readiness to prioritise emergency work and a 24/7 operational capability.
“Our field crews are adept at handling high-risk operations, including confined space and working at heights management,” Triffitt said. “Our team’s industry expertise extends to water, sewer, and infrastructure applications, collaborating with local water authorities, councils, and tier-one civil contractors. We also utilise drain cleaning and hydro excavation equipment in these markets.”
With a commitment to delivering exceptional service to its existing client base, RDI is also eyeing further investment in the Sydney market to unlock more tier-one infrastructure project opportunities.
Looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, Triffitt envisions additional capital investments in the drainage and non-destructive digging sectors, enabling the company’s organic growth and contributing to sustainable employment.
As part of the Rangedale Group of Companies, Rangedale can provide customers with comprehensive service solutions thanks to its vertically integrated approach, which leverages all in-house services. With its extensive fleet, skilled personnel, industry expertise, and vast resources, Rangedale is well-equipped to tackle any challenge.
