New CEO for Bothar Boring & Tunnelling

Shane Kimpton has joined Bothar Boring & Tunnelling as chief executive officer (CEO), following the company’s successful restructuring process.

Specialising in complex subsurface infrastructure, Bothar Boring & Tunnelling focuses on tunnelling/microtunnelling and shaft construction through to direct pipe installation and auger boring.

The ownership structure under OCP Asia will allow Bothar to re-establish its balance sheet and capital for future growth.

“We have a strong technical team – we retained throughout the restructuring all of the Bothar experience that has been accumulated over the last 30 years,” Kimpton said. “For myself, the focus is on setting the strategy and working with the team on aligning everyone around the future direction of the business.”
