The trenchless industry has put a spotlight on the women who help keep the industry running in celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD).
IWD 2024 is an opportunity for companies to recognise the hard work and dedication of their female employees. The theme for 2024 is ‘Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress’.
Trenchless provider Pipe Core highlighted the company’s diversity, noting it has a higher representation of females compared to males and more than 50 per cent gender diversity.
Interflow released a IWD campaign with a video featuring women from across its business, which highlighted the need to push for more inclusive workplaces within the trenchless industry.
Vermeer Australia highlighted a number of women across agriculture, roads and civil infrastructure, earthmoving, environmental resource management, mining and forestry industries.
“We’re incredibly proud to have all these women and many, many more as part of the RDO Equipment and Vermeer Australia teams, holding it all together behind the scenes,” the company said.
