New Zealand’s premier water conference and exhibition has opened call for papers for this year’s event, taking place in Hamilton from 25-27 September.
For Water NZ chief executive officer Gillian Blythe, the conference will surpass all expectations.
“This conference will again be a pivotal opportunity for us to come together as a water community and be part of key conversations about the future of this vital sector,” she said.
“This summer we’ve been reminded again of the increasingly urgent need to set the course for a long-term resolution to our gaping infrastructure deficit.”
Blythe is adamant: all individuals play a vital role when it comes to water.
“We also know how important it is for our members to stay connected. Exhibitors play a key role at our conferences and I’m particularly pleased that this year at Claudelands we’ve been able to secure additional exhibition sites,” she said.
“2024 will be a dynamic and critical year and I look forward to catching up with everyone in September.”
Abstracts submitted must be a minimum of 200 words and a maximum of 500 words with the selection of papers determined by an abstract peer review process guided by the Technical Committee.
Call for abstract closes on April 6.
