The Water New Zealand Conference and Exhibition is set to close its call for papers on Wednesday, 3 April.
The conference is set to take place in Hamilton from 25-27 September.
“This conference will again be a pivotal opportunity for us to come together as a water community and be part of key conversations about the future of this vital sector,” Water NZ chief executive officer Gillian Blyth said.
“This summer we’ve been reminded again of the increasingly urgent need to set the course for a long-term resolution to our gaping infrastructure deficit.”
All individuals play an important role within the water industry, according to Blyth.
“We also know how important it is for our members to stay connected. Exhibitors play a key role at our conferences and I’m particularly pleased that this year at Claudelands we’ve been able to secure additional exhibition sites,” she said.
“2024 will be a dynamic and critical year and I look forward to catching up with everyone in September.”
Abstracts submitted must be a minimum of 200 words and a maximum of 500 words with the selection of papers determined by an abstract peer review process guided by the Technical Committee.
Submit an abstract now before the call closes on 3 April.
