From live demonstrations to empowering insights into the world of trenchless technology, TRACTO Australia travelled to Germany to attend the annual Hands-On day.
Held from April 15-19, the Hands-On Day saw over 120 live demonstrations, 30 factory tours, 20 machines on display, four thematic blocks and 15 specialised lectures.
TRACTO Australia visited Saalhausen in Lennestadt, Germany with a delegation of its horizontal directional drilling (HDD) clients from Australia to attend the event.
“It was very exciting to welcome our customers and partners to the annual Hands-On day in Lennestadt,” TRACTO Australia sales manager Daniel Toms said.
Spending a week there, the company was able to work with a range of TRACTO drills, experience an array of no-dig techniques live through practical demonstrations of all product groups and an extensive lecture program.
The company also visited Prime Drilling, in which TRACTO Australia is a distributor of Prime’s range of 50t to maxi HDD rigs to the Australasian region, for a factory tour.
“The event was very successful as visitors experienced the whole world of trenchless technologies through demonstrations and expert talks,” Toms said.
The Hands-On event also provided an evening event, allowing for attendees to make new contacts in the industry and foster professional networks.
