Non-destructive digging works have kicked off in Broadford, Victoria, as part of the Inland Rail project.
Specialist contractors are undertaking the site survey and ground investigation works at various locations along Short Street, Rupert Street, Catherine Court, Sutherland Street and within the rail corridor.
Activities include locating and mapping underground services using non-destructive digging (NDD), borehole drilling and overnight works involving surveying the V/Line track while trains are not running.
NDD will specifically take place along Short Street, Rupert Street, Sutherland Street and Catherine Court to minimise disruption.
The survey and ground investigation works are anticipated to finish by late August.
