Biloela Raw Water Main Swabbing Project

Description: The site of the works shall be along the existing raw water main that extends from the Callide Dam pump station to the Biloela Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
The scope of works includes the following components:

  1. The construction of a pig insertion pit and associated fittings adjacent to the Callide Dam water pump station
  2. Realignment of the existing raw water main at the corner of Calvale Road and the WTP access road.
    3. Road crossing realignment of the raw water main and construction of an above ground pig recovery/insertion arrangement along the WTP access road.
    4. Minor realignment of the raw water main and construction of an above ground pig recovery arrangement immediately prior to the inlet to the WTP.

Stormwater Pipe Relining

Description: The City is seeking to engage a Contractor to supply and install ultraviolet-cured in-place stormwater pipe relining in four locations within the Principal’s municipal boundaries.

The scope of works includes:

  • Inspection (by CCTV) and reporting on Council Sewer Pipes (approximately 19km)

  • Smoke Testing (including Dye testing as required) and Reporting of infiltration into Council sewers, and
  • Smoke Testing (including Dye testing as required) and Reporting of infiltration into Sanitary Lines on Private Properties/ House service Lines (approximately 985 properties)
  • Communication with affected Customers and Authorities including preparation of letters and notices and issue to customers and authorities.
  • Preparation of appropriate communication material and issue to all stakeholders.
  • Consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Traffic Management as required.

Texas Apex Park Sewer construction

Fawcetts Creek Aerial Sewer Crossing – Kyogle

Description: Project goals
To provide a new gravity sewer main, including support structure, across Fawcett’s Creek to replace the existing gravity sewer main and support structure that sustained damage during the 2022 flooding.

Scope
The Contract work covers completion of all outstanding designs, supply and delivery of all materials, plant, equipment and labour required for the construction, testing and commissioning of the Works in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents, this Specification and as shown on the Drawings.

The Work comprises, but is not limited to, the following:
• A three span steel structure with spans of 14m, 22m and 14m.
• Concrete support structure including piers, pier cap beam, wall and abutments.
• Steel I beam span structure with access grating and safety system.
• A 150mm diameter DICL pipe for transport of sewage including two new manholes at each end of the span and connection to the existing manholes.
The Optional Additional Work comprises of the dismantling and disposal of the existing gravity sewer main, Telstra cable and metal conduit, and existing supporting structure.

Caves Rd Water Mains Upgrade- Supply, Construct and Commission
