Description: | The Toowoomba to Warwick (T2W) pipeline is a water security initiative established by the Queensland State Government to provide water to the Southern Downs Regional Council during drought conditions.
Within the T2W project, the State Government has allocated funds to provide a secure water supply to the Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) townships of Cambooya, Greenmount, Nobby, and Clifton. The first construction phase includes the installation of a new DN200 trunk water main from Greenmount to Cambooya. Toowoomba Regional Council Construction crews will be installing the DN200 main, however TRC requires a contractor to complete the underboring works. Along the alignment for the new DN200 trunk main, there are four locations that require underboring works. The approximate locations of the works are: 1. Greenmount – From Gerald Lane, passing under Greenmount Nobby Rd and Queensland Rail (QR) property, to Bridie Road 2. Greenmount – Emu Creek at Watts Siding Road 3. Cambooya – From Watts Siding Road passing under Queensland Rail Property to Henry Road 4. Cambooya – At Hennessey Road (unformed road section). |
