DrainTech Solutions completes stormwater relining project

DrainTech Solutions has recently completed a large scale installation, using Pro Line’s UV cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner for the 750mm stormwater installation.

The pipeline renewal was part of a stormwater upgrade system designed to prevent leaks and spills from entering the environment, delivering a fast, efficient and long-lasting solution for DrainTech’s client.

When combined with the flood gate, the solution creates a watertight seal, ensuring optimal protection for environmentally sensitive areas.

DrainTech Solutions first installed Pro Line’s seamless, high-strength liner inside the existing pipe.

Once positioned, the liner was cured with UV light, rapidly hardening into a robust new pipe within the old one.

UV Relining has become a popular method due to a number of factors, including minimisingdisruption to the community and environment because it doesn’t require excavation.

Further, it provides a more cost-effective approach through the reduction of long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

“This project is a testament to the power of trenchless technology in modern infrastructure rehabilitation” DrainTech said in a statement.

“By leveraging UV technology, we restored this stormwater asset without costly and time-consuming excavation, ensuring the system remains operational for years to come.”
