International No-Dig Auckland has welcomed Auckland Council as an official Industry Partner, strengthening the event’s role as the meeting place for New Zealand’s underground infrastructure sector at a critical time for the industry.
With the introduction of the Local Water Done Well reforms, councils across New Zealand are entering a new era of water service delivery.

Its partnership with International No-Dig Auckland reflects a shared commitment to fostering collaboration across the sector as councils respond to evolving infrastructure demands.
Auckland Council’s General Manager, Healthy Waters and Flood Resilience Craig Mcilroy said the current water services reforms have given it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to improve its approach to stormwater.
“Innovation is essential if we’re going to meet Auckland’s future infrastructure needs. As New Zealand’s largest city, we manage an extensive network of stormwater assets and waterways, and we’re always looking for better ways to deliver services for our communities,” he said.
