Aurora Australis – the TBM putting the Bogong Hydro Power Project in lights

The fourth and final link in the scheme, the Bogong Power Development Project, to be commissioned in late 2009, will add another 140 MW to the existing 241 MW generating capacity of the Kiewa Valley Hydroelectric Scheme, making it the largest hydropower project to be constructed in Australia in 25 years. Coe Drilling successfully completes PNG river crossing

In early 2008, Ok Tedi Mining contracted Coe Drilling to undertake the Ok Tedi River crossing project, entailing the construction of a 500 m long DN 200 steel mine waste tailings pipeline beneath the Ok Tedi River to transport the mine waste to a newly constructed tailings dam on the west side of the river near Bige in Papua New Guinea.
