No-dig services provider, Cleanflow Environmental Solutions, has confirmed it has completed the trenchless UV-cured relining of two DN900 reinforced concrete culverts.
The project included restoring structural integrity to the high-impact assets located at Hale Road, Forrestfield, in addition to improving hydraulic function and long-term service life with minimal disruption.
The scope of works required mobilisation, site establishment and safety setup, traffic and pedestrian control, HV/LV identification, overhead powerline controls with signage and spotters, comprehensive service locates, pre-cleaning to remove debris, silt, roots and dust.
Cleanflow also provided CCTV verification and strict manufacturer-compliant UV liner installation targeted to a maximum two days on-site.
According to the company, quality was maintained throughout via inspection and testing, followed by demobilisation, commissioning surveys, defects resolution and final updates to as‑constructed records, the Functional Asset Register and SAP plans.
Faced with variable weather and creek flows, Cleanflow said it had implemented and managed a bypass system to control water ingress, enabling completion of the lining on schedule despite a forecasted storm and without compromising the UV cure or installation quality.
“The works were completed within the low‑flow summer window, with full QA documentation and asset records handed over to the client, reducing lifecycle risk and demonstrating Cleanflow’s capability to deliver safe, efficient and high‑quality culvert renewals under challenging conditions,” the company said.
