The year promises to be a busy one with several events coming upon us quickly already.
Trenchless Seminars
All members and trenchless stakeholders should look at the program of events over the next few months as the ASTT, in conjunction with Great Southern Press, support a number of Trenchless networking events.
One was recently held in Sydney on 24 February 2011 on the future of relining, and other events are planned for Melbourne on 14 April 2011 (future of tunnelling) and Brisbane on 12 May 2011 (HDD and geothermal).
Check these out for a great networking opportunity!
ISTT No-Dig Berlin
The next International No-Dig is due to take place in Berlin, Germany, to be held from 2-5 May 2011, and is already coming around quickly.
Whilst this event follows hard on the heels of the previous event in Singapore, held in November 2010, it promises to be very interesting as it is part of the Wasser Berlin International 2011, a large international water conference.
This event will also be an opportunity for the ASTT to promote the 2013 International No-Dig to be held in Sydney 1-4 September, as was highlighted last issue.
2011 No-Dig Down Under, Brisbane
No-Dig Down Under 2011 will be held in Brisbane, 3-6 October 2011, at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre.
All trenchless stakeholders should take the opportunity to attend these fantastic conferences and social events. We should all now be thinking about our exhibition spot or conference delegate spot for this event. Get your abstract in before 1 April to be considered.
AGM
Aligned with the trenchless seminar event in Melbourne, 14 April 2011, will be the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the ASTT.
Members should take the time to attend the meeting to find out what the society is doing and take this opportunity to contribute to what you think the society should be doing in the future.
