Following the completion of HDD works at Voss Circuit in Torquay have been successfully completed by SUBCO for its SMAP project.
Over the coming weeks, GORCAPA will carry out returfing and site restoration, preparing the reserve to reopen ahead of the busy summer season. This will ensure the community can continue to enjoy the area with minimal long-term impact from the project.
Works at Voss Circuit began on 19 May 2025 and were completed on 26 September 2025, spanning 131 days.
The team successfully installed 2,400m of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) beneath the reserve, completing the drilling during the winter months as planned to minimise disruption to local residents, reserve users, and the wider community.
