Eddie Lia, owner of CPL Australia Trenchless Technology Pty Ltd, was given a complimentary pallet of Sud-Chemie HDG Bentonil with the purchase of his new 15N Grundodrill from TT Asia Pacific. After using the bentonite Eddie is thrilled with the difference it has made to his operations.
“We had tried the other brands and while they were okay in some grounds we needed to use a number of costly additives in a lot of situations,” Eddie said. “But with HDG Bentonil we don’t. It saves me a fortune in money and time.
“We only use half as much bentonite as before and the costly additives have been eliminated. We pull in four and six ways for power in clay and sand with no worries at all about the bore. When you couple this with the fully-automatic boring and back reaming function of TT Asia Pacific’s 15N Grundodrill, drilling is a breeze. With our two 4,000 litre tanks it is saving me as much as $A400 per mix.”
Sud-Chemie has appointed TT Asia Pacific as the Australian distributor of its very high yield bentonite. This partnership is already proving to be a huge success with sales really taking off in the first few weeks of its release. TT Asia Pacific National Sales Manager John Walsh said “The reaction of the HDD market has been very positive and apart from the obvious cost savings, the product is very easy to use. It is quick to mix and produces a great bore with lots of flow and is excellent in just about all grounds.”
