IMPREG’s ascension in the Australian market

The German company has well and truly established itself in Australia with the opening of a new warehouse in Newcastle, New South Wales.

IMPREG now has fresh and new stock available in its new Newcastle serviced warehouse, which positions the company in a strategic location to supply the east coast of Australia.

Liners can be cut, dispatched, and delivered across Australia and New Zealand in a streamlined and effective way.

Country manager for Australia & New Zealand Colin Murphy said the Newcastle warehouse is regularly stocked with a range of 150DN to 450DN and accessories.

“This is a really excellent location, close to a major port for stock intake and dispatch to New Zealand, two hours from Sydney, frequent overnight transport to Melbourne and Brisbane,” he said.

“Our technician Jamie Patrick resides close by to assist in liner dispatch, we have a dedicated team of professional warehouse staff and equipment to assist us.”

IMPREG’s added value doesn’t just stem from its state-of-the-art facility, but also from its star representatives such as Murphy and Patrick.

Murphy is IMPREG’s new point of contact for Australian and New Zealand-based customers.

He’s recently been joined by Patrick who brings over 17 years’ experience in trenchless installations, primarily in the United Kingdom and across the world.

“As IMPREG continues to grow and advance in Australia and New Zealand we have continued a strong focus on quality products and excellent customer service,” Murphy said.

“IMPREG Australia can offer hands on technical assistance and follow it up with a professional and dynamic approach.”

For many of these years, Patrick has worked with UV CIPP and is now familiar with a range of equipment and challenging applications.

Patrick is now based in New South Wales and will be deployed to customer sites as a consultant to assist with a variety of new and technically demanding applications.

Murphy and Patrick will also provide liner demonstrations where required to further educate the market and assist with product technology.

The duo has been working closely together visiting clients across the region where they have been involved in many technical discussions, site visits, liner installation assistance and pre-tender meetings.

They will continue to offer a variety of support setting a new standard in UV CIPP customer service and technical advice in Australia.

Both Murphy and Patrick attended Rokotec in Germany earlier this year, where they met a number of colleagues and clients from across the world.

“Witnessing the latest technical advancements in the industry firsthand is an invaluable experience to share with our ANZ market,” said Murphy.

IMPREG will also have a stand at this year’s No-Dig Down Under, where the company will will be presenting to the delegates with a technical case study delivered by Murphy.

“No-Dig Down Under is a unique and niche trade show. It is very specialised and is 100 percent focused on IMPREG core business,” said Murphy.

“This year we have a new booth design with sample liners up to the DN2000 on show.”

Murphy said he was very much looking forward connecting with like-minded industry professionals.

“It’s always great to meet our clients, engineers, water authorities and councils all under one roof.  It is also beneficial and fun to catch up with other suppliers and exhibitors to the trenchless market.”

IMPREG technical team can organise detailed liner design documentation.

A technical presentation will be carried out by Murphy on IMPREG’s large diameter 2000DN liner installation in Europe, which is the biggest UV liner in the world to date.
