The 2015 theme for National Water Week is Innovation, with utilities emphasising the need to think creatively about conserving water as Australia’s population and water consumption continues to grow.
Throughout the week utility users are encouraged to Protect, Conserve and Get Involved in order to stay informed about the management of drinking water and wastewater in Australia.
Several utilities are hosting their own events to mark the week, including poster and short film competitions for school children.
