One of the most noteworthy initiatives was the Networking Forum hosted by ASTT in June. The event had 30 attendees from all areas of industry, who enjoyed listening to four technical presentations followed by a networking session.
The presentations included Sydney Water discussing some of the criteria for acceptance of trenchless designs, UEA recounting a case study on works at Balmain, Work Cover speaking on asbestos concerns, and Dial Before You Dig NSW/ACT talking about the legal obligations associated with any excavation works and damage minimisation.
Special thanks go to all speakers for taking time out of their busy schedules to present on very interesting topics.
