Rob Carr has been awarded the contract for the Northwest Growth Area Package 4A – Wastewater East Shaft and Microtunnelling Works for Confluence Water, Sydney Water’s North Regional Delivery Partner.
The Northwest Growth Package 4A Project will enhance wastewater and drinking water services for the projected growth of the northwest area.
Rob Carr’s scope entails significant early works investigation and complex temporary works design.
It will also consist of construction of major bespoke access shafts, construction of two 270m long tunnels (DN1200) in parallel formation under Sydney Water assets within the Riverstone Wastewater Treatment Plant, construction of a further two x 45m long tunnels (DN1200 and DN500) and installation and grouting of multiple HDPE pressure mains.
