Service Stream has secured a new nine-year contract with Yarra Valley Water under the utility’s Maintenance Services Delivery Partners program.
Yarra Valley Water is Victoria’s largest water utility, providing water and sewerage services to more than two million people across Melbourne’s northern and eastern suburbs.
Under a refreshed delivery model, Service Stream has been selected as the Delivery Partner for the Northern Region.
Under the contract, Service Stream will deliver mechanical, electrical and civil maintenance services across Yarra Valley Water’s water and sewerage networks and treatment facilities.
The scope includes both responsive maintenance and selected programmed works, supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of critical infrastructure servicing Melbourne communities.
Mobilisation activities will commence immediately, with operations scheduled to begin in October 2026.
Service Stream Managing Director, Leigh Mackender, said the contract represented an important milestone for the business and reinforced the company’s strong position within the utilities sector.
