The city is seeking to engage a suitably experienced contractor to undertake microtunnelling and pipe jacking works at the intersection of Weaponess Road and Bournemouth Crescent, Wembley Downs, as part of a stormwater drainage upgrade project.
The purpose of the works is to increase stormwater collection capacity and mitigate flooding in the surrounding area.
The contractor will be responsible for the delivery of the specified works, including site establishment, shaft construction, pipe installation, utility supervision, asset protection, waste removal and site demobilisation. The city will provide traffic management, utility location, survey set-out and associated site facilities
Basis of Contract Award: the city intends to award the contract to one respondent.

ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT): the City of Coffs Harbour seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to construct a watermain duplication for Contract CON00787 Mull Solitary Isl Way No.2356-No.2564 north from Woolgoolga which the City anticipates awarding to a single contractor. The award of tender will require the contractor to be bound by the City’s minor works MW21 General Conditions of Contract, a copy of which is supplied in the RFT document package.
NON-MANDATORY SITE VISIT
As part of this RFT, the city may offer the opportunity of a site visit to any proponent which can be organised by contacting the Nominated Contact (see also the Volume 1 document). Although the site visit is not mandatory the city does recommend that proponents to take advantage of this opportunity to fully inform themselves of the site.

Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Proof of Performance Testing of Mudgee WTP Clarifier Repair, New Clarifier Upgrade Works and Fluoride Dosage System

Reconstruction of Roads and Drainage – Ayr Industrial Estate

Description: The scope of works includes:
• All earthworks and excavations required.
• Demolition, removal and disposal of existing road surfaces, pavements, signage, furniture, culverts and concrete structures required within the design prior to reconstruction works.
• Reconstruction and widening of the existing roads, in accordance with plan R-724-A and the following specification. This includes subgrade remediation, groundwater ingress management, pavement construction and sealing works.
• Upgrade and reconstruction of stormwater drainage systems and kerb and channel in accordance with Plan R-724-A.
• Reinstatement of existing crossover accesses, where directed in design plans.
• Reinstatement of verge levels with topsoil and natural drainage between the back of the kerb and property boundaries. This may include any landscaping damaged during construction.
• Installation of all signage and road line markings as outlined in plans R-724-A.
• Supply and installation of a water main in accordance with plan R-724-A and the specification. This includes pressure testing and disinfection of the main. Council shall be notified once these works completed to commence subsequent property service connection works. Such works are an optional item, if included the contractor shall be responsible for the supply, installation, testing and disinfection of the main and fittings and the connection of the main to the reticulation system. Council will disconnect and reconnect the services and provide all service materials.
• Dewatering of the construction site, as required.
• Full construction management of the works, including all subcontractors and site security.
• Management of site staging, traffic management and access management to ensure minimal disruption to local Industrial Estate businesses including the installation of temporary roads and accesses where required.
• Communication with all Industrial Estate businesses to fully inform of access changes, disruptions and programmed works.
• Communication with Burdekin Shire Council’s Project Manager, including frequent meetings and inspections to discuss work progress, construction issues, community management etc.
• Engineering inspections of concrete structures and reporting on subgrade, pavement and concrete testing. All reports completed by an external engineer are to be signed by a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).

FNQROC Regional Sewer Relining Program 2026/2027

Whilst tender is sought on the basis of the aggregation of all the councils’ requirements, a separate contract will be formed between the successful tenderer and each council which will be substantially same form as the example provided within this Request for Tender (as amended by agreement between the parties) in Part 4.
This Request for Tender represents a unique opportunity to secure contracts with up to three (3) councils for delivery of their programs for 2026/27 with the potential for the Scope to be varied to include relining and manhole refurbishment required during 2027/28 and 2028/29 at each council’s discretion.
